The 6th edition of the Africa Investment & Capital Meeting (AICM 2026) convenes at a critical moment for Africa’s agribusiness sector one that demands scaled capital mobilisation, innovative financing structures, and execution-focused partnerships.
Under the theme “Driving Industrialization in Nigeria through Capital Markets, Strategic Investments and Global Trade”, AICM 2026 is designed as a transaction-oriented platform with a clear objective: to mobilise a minimum of USD 30 million in investable capital into bankable agribusiness opportunities across Nigeria and the wider African market.
While agribusiness remains one of Africa’s most resilient and high-impact sectors, capital flow into scalable production, processing, and trade remains below potential. AICM 2026 directly addresses this gap by bringing together institutional investors, development finance institutions, commercial banks, impact funds, agribusiness operators, and policymakers to accelerate deal origination, risk-sharing, and capital deployment.
Building on the strong foundations of previous editions which have facilitated over USD 12 million in investment commitments and 30+ strategic partnerships this year’s convening places heightened emphasis on blended finance, structured investment vehicles, and pipeline-ready projects capable of absorbing institutional capital at scale.
AICM 2026 will once again serve as a trusted platform for aligning capital with opportunity strengthening agribusiness value chains, enhancing export competitiveness, and supporting sustainable economic growth across Africa.
