Psaltry International is seeking $2M to deploy climate-smart agriculture (CSA) to improve the availability of quality cassava roots and build the capacity of 10,000 smallholder farmers. Psaltry International is Africa’s leading agro-allied cassava processing redefining the cassava value chain, by deploying a new approach to cassava processing, enabling a consistent supply of high-quality industrial cassava derivative, such as; high-quality cassava flour (HCCF), high quality food-grade starch, sorbitol, laundry starch, cassava flakes, and animal feeds. Through their out-grower and in-grower scheme, they have empowered over 3,500 farmers and 500 young agripeneurs, and have raised their standards from $1.9 to $5 – 10 per day
