The Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (IIFP) partners with Welcome2Africa (W2A) International towards the upcoming Islamic Agri-Finance and Investment Symposium (IAFIS2022) taking place on the 3rd of November in Abuja.
IIFP is the pioneer Islamic Finance Professional Certification Body that since its establishment has trained hundreds of experts and professionals who are leading the Islamic finance industry across Islamic banking, Takaful, Islamic Asset Management, Islamic Pension and other subsectors.
IAFIS2022 will bring together key stakeholders in Alternative Finance with the aim of removing the misconceptions around this Sharia-compliant financing as well as the opportunities it presents. This symposium hopes to remove the veil of mystery and misconceptions to this newly formalized financing institution. While bringing more awareness to this Islamic financing, we will explore the availability and accessibility of types of Islamic funding.

The program will assess the current status of the Islamic banking system, drive understanding on the opportunities presented through Islamic financing compared to conventional financing institutions towards supporting the agricultural sector in Nigeria and across Africa.
